Borgarlínan is based on government policy and decisions, and detailed preparations in recent years. The most important factor is the Transport Treaty signed by the state and municipalities in the capital area, which includes a common vision and comprehensive organization for the area. Borgarlínan is a high-quality Bus Rapid Transit system (BRT) for the Capital area.
